Here I present a very rare early 1900’s Hertwig jointed bisque porcelain polar bear. Bear is wire jointed and can be displayed standing, sitting, or on all fours. Great for a bear, doll, or Christmas collection. Very nicely cast and decorated in high detail, in typical fashion for Hertwig dolls, bears and other figures. Item is unmarked, but these are known Hertwig products. Item measures about 3 inches (7.6 cm) tall when standing. Note that I also have a rare brown bear on a separate listing! No chips or cracks.
