This is a superb Art Deco figurine of a nude lady from Karl Ens of Volkstedt. The stunningly beautiful’Blanc de Chine’ figure is posed seated upon a cloth covered log on a malachite coloured ground surrounded by geometric squares of gilt, typically Art Deco. She has her hair tied up, held by a gilt hairband. She measures 5.5inches (14cm) high and is in fabulous condition with no chips, cracks, glaze crazing or restoration, with the gilt being bright and unrubbed. Please see detailed photos to appreciate the super condition. The base is marked with the ENS windmill mark and the model number 4858.
