Up for your consideration is this amazing antique Chinese metal enameled with turquoise dragon and bird decoration on egg form, looks to be from 19th century, beautifully and finely crafted, there are 3 small areas of enamel loss (see last two photo/close ups) but overall as photos show this is in good condition – please see photos. RARE Antique Late 18c Early 19c Tibet Men’s Earring Turquoise Silver & Gold Gilt

Antique Late 18th Early 19th Century Men’s Tibetan Earring, Silver And Gold Gilt With Large Turquoise Pieces And Complex Beaded Patterns. While there are many reproductions of Tibetan and Nepalese antiques as well as modern primitive souvenirs that are presented as original pieces, we have confirmed this to be a rare and original late 18th to early 19th century antique man’s earring. The stones are high grade, and its age shows, but it is not damaged. There is soiling in the corners and crannies of the earring from age and we did not attempt to remove them. There are no cracks or chips in the stones, the piece is strong and sturdy, it is not fragile. The detailed bead-work still shows well despite age. We have found only one comparable piece of this age, which was described as being silver with gold gilt. We have not tested this piece and therefore cannot confirm that it is in fact low grade silver or if it is silver gilt with a gold gilt decoration. This does not however diminish its rarity and does not alter its authenticity. The main decoration is 1 1/8″ long and 5/8″ wide and 3/8 thick. The earring is approximately 1 5/8 in diameter. The hoop is 1/8 thick. Each high grade Tibetan turquoise stone is approximately 1/4 or bigger. Please study photos for further detail and condition. Rare Early Navajo Squash Blossom Figural Necklace, Turquoise 20s Antique Silver

FOLLOW US ON INSTAGRAM! Antique Navajo handmade silver necklace c. This is a most unusual piece and a fine addition to your collection of early Navajo jewelry. The necklace is made of bench beads in pearl and elongated shapes. It is decorated with 4 squash blossoms. Take a look at the close-up images to see the file marks on the beads and blossoms–this piece was made entirely by hand. The unusual pendant is a figural design with stamped decoration and turquoise eyes. The clasp is a commercial jewelry clasp of a style most commonly in use from the late 19C through the 30s; it was not totally unusual for Navajo jewelry of this early period to utilize commercial jewelry findings. This has a dark old patina that my mother left in place; Ill leave any cleaning up to the new owner. Larger items may be more.
