THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST ITEMS I HAVE EVER. IT IS A EARLY 1900S. BASICLY A FISH BOWL. FROM MY RESEARCH I BELIEVE THESE WOULD BE ON A COUNTER. IN A STORE AND THERE WOULD BE WATER WITH FLOATING WOOD. COVERED IN WATER SPAR VARNISH TO SHOW AS A SALESMAN SAMPLE. THAT THE WOOD WOULD FLOAT. THE LETTERS ARE LARGE AND EMBOSSED. THERE IS AN INTERNAL CRACK ON THE BOTTOM. I RAN MY FINGER OVER IT AND CANT FEWEL IT AT ALL. I DO NOT BELIEVE IT AFFECTS THE INTEGRITY AT ALL. BESIDES THE SMALL INTERNAL CRACK, ITS IN GREAT SHAPE. A FEW MINOR SCRATCHES AND BLEMISHES. STILL AN INCREDIBLE DISPLAY PIECE!! THE TOP MEASURES 8 IN DIAMETER. THE TOP OPENING IS ABOUT 6 IN DIAMETER. THE BOTTOM BASE IS ABOUT 5 IN DIAMETER. IT IS ABOUT 9 TALL. WIDTH IS ABOUT 10. MERCANTILE ENAMEL LITHOGRAPHED TIN UPRIGHT STORE DISPLAY, with LATCHED, HINGED, SWINGING FRONT DOOR, BLACK ENAMEL PAINTED WOODEN BLOCK BASE, UPPER WALL HANGING FLANGE & FOUR INTERIOR, DIVIDED COMPARTMENTS. The Handiest Things In The House. (Yellow & red boxed tube contains Carbolated Petroleum Jelly). Early 20th century Ame ri can antique early mercantile lithographed enamel tin advertising store displays and product showcases. 15 ½” Height x 7 ½” Width x 6 Depth. Straight from a Massachusetts doctor’s personal collection to you is this just absolutely fantastic, and you don’t have to love and appreciate antique and vintage Ame ri can advertising to see that this early 20th century Vaseline Preparations color lithographed enamel tin upright early mercantile store display, with various color product tubes pictured on the front door of the case, is one big, bad, lean and mean piece of Ame ri can early advertising. Extremely rare and with few ever available on the market quite like it, this nearly, if not 100 year-old tin store display, is a highly coveted and exceptionally scarce Ame ri can mercantile artifact. The Ame ri can company Vaseline, which was growing quickly in popularity throughout the Unit ed St ates, introduced various additional products in addition to its core moisturizing and anti-inflammatory petrolatum based ointments, such as the various tubed products, captured in color lithography over a faux wood lithographed enamel, upright tin case. It still has one red and orange cardboard carton box containing a lead tube holding Carbolated Petroleum Jelly. RARE Antique Early 1900s Corbin Lock Key Hardware General Store Oak Display Sign. Excellent condition for its age all the way around. Original back door still opens and closes nicely. Original Corbin decals on each side are still in nice condition. Wood still has its original finish. The front is a little dusty under the hardware but will clean up. This piece came from a long time general store collector. Id say about 1/3 of the hardware is original on the front and the rest are reproduction but still nice. Rare Early Antique Wood Chocolate Candy Store Box Use For Jewelry Marbles Etc. Rare Early Antique Wood Chocolate Candy Store Box you could use for display or use For Jewelry Marbles Etc. Marked “Candidor De Chocolats” one pound net on top as seen in pic’s. This is a great find and not often seen as I couldn’t find much on it(it’s overall condition is very nice also) This Wood Box was from a very nice collection of very early wood dovetailed/notched corner boxes collected by one man over a few decades. The workmanship to draw alone with it’s dovetailed delicate looking corners(all four) is quite remarkable and the exterior of the boxes dovetailed corners(all four) are very well done also. This is a very cute wood box with great natural patina and in working order. Size is 7″&7/16ths wide by 5″&3/8ths inches deep by 2&7/16ths inches tall. Study all pictures just take as they show all measurements including the inside measurements using a 1 inch increment ruler. “Condition Description” This Box is in nice working order as far as the draw sliding in and out and the lid lifting off and fitting back on very nicely. The only Damage I see is not in the last picture with a yellow arrow and ruler under it showing it and it’s located on the very back of the lid so when displaying it You or anyone else won’t see it unless they pick it up and spin it around or lift the lid off.
