RARE HUGE antique 1800’s solid cast iron figural Scottish soldier doorstop early

Up for sale is an extremely rare antique solid cast iron figural doorstop made the second half of the 19th century. The stop is in the form of an armed Scottish soldier standing on a platform base with his hand propped on the rock background. It’s made of very thick iron, is extremely heavy, and has acquired a lovely patina from age. The casting is an exceedingly rare form. In nice antique condition and measures 14 3/4 inches tall by 12 1/2 inches wide by 3 inches back to front. Thank you for visiting “Dusty Treasures ” and please feel free to browse through. Extremely rare pre First World War Steiff soldier. Painted hair, eyebrows and mouth. Dark blue felt long jacket with high red collar, epaulettes and 8 original 5mm Steiff buttons (2 missing) on front and 2 on coat tails. Fine leather shoes with felt under soles. Two silk additions in French flag colours on metallic flat cord, both hand sewn and hanging from original metallic braid shoulder straps. Chain around waist with remnants of braid and red felt where a sword hung. Stitching and braid remnants to palm of right hand suggests sword was attached to the hand at some point.
