ONLY ONE ABUMI NOT A PAIR. Made of iron and decorated with silver application and inlay this piece is truly unique. Collectors will be happy to see that this piece is signed. It is signed on the top section of the top support with several characters, see photos. The front of the abumi is decorated with a beautiful bird which is decorated in silver on the iron abumi. The bottom of the abumi shows some age rust which I left as found. The inside of the abumi is decorated with abalone or metallic type flakes. The piece measures approx 12 long x 9 1/2 high x 5 1/4 wide. Overall in nice condition but I do see that the small bar for the buckle is missing.
