Very interesting details throughout. All covers attached, tight and bright. Some wear to cover edges – see photos. Some pages a bit loose but all are intact. Most tissue papers covering B&W and Color illustrations are present. Some are not or have tears (see photo of one). Gilt edges with beautiful intricate, scalloped, gilt cover design with beveled cover edges. Back cover shows an alternative cover design – less gilt but still very detailed and scalloped – see last photo. Approximately 12-1/2″ x 10″ x 1-1/2 thick. Overall this is a very good example of this unique sample bible in great shape for its age and use.
