From The Internet: The name Orobr was actually one of the trademarks of the Oro Works (Orowerke) toy company of Brandenberg, Germany. The owners and partners of the company were Mr. The company manufactured inexpensive, but well-made tin toys both before WWI and again after the war, until 1922. Surprisingly, for low-cost toys, there were some very complex toys made that had as many as 42 different pieces of tin plate with tabs. RARE EARLY HADRILL HORSTMANN PROTOTYPE ROLLER LAMP. 1940s INDUSTRIAL ANGLEPOISE
ULTRA RARE PROTOTYPE HADRILL HORSTMANN ROLLER LAMP. Designed by Fredjo Horstmann, this lamp dates from the 1940s. London stamp (not the later Godalming stamp 1950s onwards). This is a prototype lamp with extended base (this is a large desk lamp not a floor lamp). The lamp has been professionally polished to a mirror finish on the base, shade, fork and counterweight. The shade itself has retained its shape, but there are a couple of minor dents and scratches/scuffs (difficult to photograph due to the reflective surface). Please be aware that the lamp is over 70 years old. It has had a working life and it therefore has imperfections. Contact me if you would like additional photographs. New chrome bulb holder and re-wired in 3-core, grey vintage flex. Not currently PAT tested, so you are advised to get it checked. Fully extended the lamps stands at approx 1.1m in height. PLEASE SEE MY LISTINGS FOR FURTHER LAMPS FROM MY COLLECTION. The item “RARE EARLY HADRILL HORSTMANN PROTOTYPE ROLLER LAMP. 1940s INDUSTRIAL ANGLEPOISE” is in sale since Friday, July 17, 2020. Antique Gliderole Roller Sled Early 1900's VERY RARE! Great Graphics
Extremely rare, collectible Gliderole roller sled on 4 wheels. In fact, it had no graphics left at all! Red paint on this one is still bright and looks quite good under the grime. We did not try to clean it up for fear of harming the finish, so we will leave that to you if you want to remove any of the accumulation. Wood has a beautiful glowing patina. Everything is solid and the graphics are AMAZING! The front wheels have replacement rubber on them for looks but I doubt that they would hold up to much riding… Not that you would want to risk riding and crashing such a rare piece! You can easily see the joined part of the rubber… The brake works and the steering is nice and tight. Hubcaps are all nice except 1 has some corrosion/paint loss to the paint… See comparison in 2nd from last and 3rd from last photos. Measures approximately 32″ long by 21″ wide by 7 high. Has a vintage cotton cord attached. The cord is discolored. Just a great, very rare, piece of American toy history! If someone else snags it, you will probably never see another!
