Rare early punched tin lantern with multicolored glass inserts, some faceted, others cabochon. Large lantern, measuring 13 high, 5.75 in diameter at bottom. In very good condition overall, complete with loop at top but no bottom; nice patina; swing door enclosure working; one of the hinges of the door missing a bolt and held together by wire. This repeatedly lands on people’s watch lists, and yet I’m flummoxed as to why no one has bothered to make an offer on it, especially since I sell quite a lot through make an offer.
