GORGEOUS Rare Early Antique Bahr Proschild Belton Type Dome Head Doll Mold 309. This is an early 18 tall B&P doll made in Germany. She is incised “309 9″ on the rear of her shoulderplate. She has no damage to her very pale bisque shoulderhead or her delicately sculpted hands and fingers. Her eyes are absolutely stunning- they remind me of the paperweight eyes seen on French dolls of the same time period. Her body is leaking saw dust and is fragile so her new owner may want to make repairs. Her lovely antique dress fits her perfectly and covers much newer undergarments. The mohair wig is vintage as is the vevet hat- she is truly an outstanding beautiful antique doll! This is one of my most precious little cabinet sized dolls. She stands about 11 1/2 inches tall marked on the back of her head 277. She is a rare early Bahr Proschild doll made in Germany. Her chocolate brown bisque socket head is free from chips, cracks or hairlines… She does have some wig pulls, please see photo. Composition body in nice condition with expected age related wear, strung well and holds a pose. She has a replacement dark aubergine color curly mohair wig which is so sassy cute on her along with 2 antique pins pulling back her thick mane of curls. She has an innocent doe-eyed look with her large stationary spiral amber glass eyes. Original painted coral lip color, pretty little porcelain teeth and pierced ears with vintage faux pearl earrings. Dressed in a vintage lavender and lace silk blend dress w/ purple bow, original chemise, antique stockings and shoes giving her a sweet coordinated look. Clothing has age soiling. Feel free to ask questions. From a private, smoke free, climate controlled and well preserved collection. Puppy dog and all other used for props and not included in sale. 23 Antique German Doll Bahr & Proschild Early Rare Mold 252 Beautiful Blue Eyes

This very special the most beautiful and impressive girl is made by Bahr & Proschild Early Mold 252! She is in a perfect size and stands 23 inch. This beauty is dressed in an old golden dress with lovely matching bonnet which brings so much charm. Her precious bisque head was made by Bahr & Proschild 1890ca+ She defiantly has a French Look. The bisque is very smooth and wonderful color. The Head is Free from Any DAMAGES! No scratches or wig pulls to her precious head. Marking: 252 // DEP // 13. Her precious head is made of pale porcelain with very light blushing to her cheeks and beautiful detailed features. She has original blue spiral eyes. She has painted upper and lower lashes, thick feathered brown brows, open mouth with four upper teeth and dimpled chin. Her ears are pierced with earrings. Very tiny nick to one of her ears and both ears have a firing lines which often happen during bisque head manufacturing. She wears replacement human hair light brown wig with a little reddish blink to her hair with cardboard pate (original pate). She has Antique an Early German Body. The body is made of wood and composition with ball joints and fully articulated with all original finish. Her lower legs has a little darker pink color. No repairs or repaints to her body. Normal wear to her body. She is well strung and can hold a pose perfectly. She is wearing a wonderful pure silk golden costume. It’s fully restored and lined. The dress has a matching hat. Her dress is old vintage or antique and has some imperfections such a little holes or brown aged spots. I believe it is normal for the dress of this age. Her undergarments are made of fine cotton and it consists: full slip and pantaloons. She has a half a slip which made of heavier cotton with crocheted trim. She has old oil cloth shoes and off white stocking. This fantastic little girl can be added to any collection for your pleasure. Just a thought to consider.
