The needlework is in perfect condition no rips or tears. The backing is a vintage cotton velvet pale beige neutral. Tassel trimming is cotton. Very Rare Early 1900 Korean Folk Item “Hussy” Wooden Container Box for Needlework, Thimble, needle and thread. The box is very nicely decorated on outside with Chinese characters and flower petals with double happiness in center of box. There are two sliding doors inside of box with Chinese characters but it looks like sliding doors are damaged. The item is in good condition overall for age with wear, nicks, chips, loss of paint, loss of wood and broken sliding doors. Please see photos as part of description.
