Mouthpiece-#30-Early 1900’s-Funnel Cup! White Co #30 Hard to Find Mouthpiece for Antique Horn. Offered is a rare antique brass mouthpiece with 99% of the silver plating intact. The condition s excellent with only minor scuffs and dings. The only stamps on the horn are H. White Co and 30. The measurements are odd and it’s too large for a cornet. The photos show it in a vintage cornet and a modern cornet. Neither fit is right. Perhaps the perfect fit for an early 20th century mellophone or alto horn. These are the measurements. Total length: 2 7/8″ OD of shank: 9/32″ ID of shank: 5/16″ ID of cup: 13/16″ Depth of cup: approximately 7/8 If you have an antique horn this might be the mouthpiece you need. The cup is funnel shaped. The throat looks very open. Excellent condition with 99% plating intact.
