Please meet Blanche, a very early and wonderfully worn antique apricot Steiff bear. She is a smidge under 16 inches and retains her button. Blanche is kapok and excelsior stuffed, some of the excelsior has settled, especially in her right leg. Mohair is thinning with loss but still has a lovely light apricot shade. Nose is missing some stitching, mouth is good! She has been very well loved over the past 100 plus years but is for sure such an early treasure with lots of love left to give! She comes bundled in her vintage sweater, hat and booties and wears her lovely antique mother of pearl name brooch! Blanche is ready for a Christmas snuggle!
