For sale is this incredibly rare incunable leaf from a bible printed in 1498! Being an Incunable (from the Latin “Infant’s Cradle”) means that this was printed pre-1500, during the early days (or infancy) of the printing press. It makes this quite a rare piece! This piece is in good overall condition, on handmade paper, with evidence of aging (light staining, marks, spotting, small tears, etc). Please study the photos very carefully for a better indication of exact condition. They tell its condition better than I do! This is an incredible piece and is ready to be framed or displayed!
