Extremely Rare Pink Frosted/Clear Lady Buffalo Indian Cambridge Float Bowl 20/30
Extremely Rare Pink Frosted and Clear Draped Lady Figurine in a Buffalo and Indian Hunt Cambridge Float Bowl 1920s / 1930s. The float bowl is very rare and scarce. It is the Cambridge Buffalo and Indian Hunt bowl with a Draped Lady Figurine. There are large Buffalos in the bowl and there are Indians riding horses with bows and arrows chasing the Buffalos. The bowl is a darkish pink. The inside of the bowl is clear and the back of the bowl is frosted. The Buffalos, Indians and Horses are all protruding out of the acid etched bowl. This bowl is a great example of Cambridge Glass featuring American History. There are no chips, cracks or repairs in the bowl or on the 3 feet that the bowl sits on. The large round bowl. The bowl is deep, it comes up high and then scoops down to an inch (2.5cm) from the table where the rim of the bowl ends. This is an extremely rare large heavy pink frosted and clear art deco float bowl. It is so rare it would be a good investment for a collector to add to their collection. This type of bowl is very rarely seen, it is extremely heavy. This float bowl is nearly 100 years old and was made in-between the two World Wars. The Draped Lady Figurine is very large and heavy glass. The Lady is naked with a drape around her, she has 2 rolled hair buns, one on each side of her head. The figurine is 13 & 1/4 inches or 33.5cm high. The flower frog is 5 inches or 12.5cm in diameter and 3 inches or 7.5cm high. The bottom of the flower frog has lovely beading running down the sides of the frog. There are no chips, cracks or repairs in the figurine so both pieces are in excellent condition for their age. There is the odd air bubble in the glass, but this is not damage, air bubbles are typical of the glass manufacturing process from this Era. Have a look at all the photos to see the lovely colour and condition. I know what it is like to get broken items and feel bitterly disappointed when they are not wrapped properly. I will double box this lovely extremely rare pink Lady, Buffalo and Indian Hunt Float. To protect it, and make sure you get it in the same beautiful condition it is in now.

A fabulous and rare Indian filigree silver Padan or betel nut box. The filigree coils of are of outstanding weight and quality, the lid has a raised central section with a crenulated rim. The base is silver sheet. The box was almost certainly made by the Muslim Nizam craftsmen of Karimnagar near Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh c1800. The manufacturing process was demanding and complex, for a full description see’Indian Silver’ by S. Pathak, pages 24 to 26. The padan box is in good collector’s condition, the gaps in the open work appear to be original. Some play to the hinge. Karimnagar Deccan c 1840. 60 x 45 x 34mm. OUR LAND AND COUNTRY: Life and History, Treasures and Splendors, from Plymouth Rock to the Golden Gate. Photographed in the Finest Art and in the Widest Expansion of Modern Pictorial Illustration. Published in 1892 by the C. Nichols Company, Springfield, Mass. 11 x 9 hardcover. Illustrated with black and white photos. Condition: GOOD ANTIQUE CONDITION. Exterior as shown in photo, some minor surface wear. Expertly rebacked by a professional book conservator. New cloth spine, original cloth titles laid over. Text is clean and complete. No torn, loose or missing pages. Nice example of this very rare 19th-century American pictorial volume. This is a mammoth book loaded with more than 250 full-page black and white photos of 19th-century America rich panoramic views, colorful street scenes, stately buildings, historic landmarks, palatial mansions, industrial wonders, the unspoiled vistas of the far west, and more. Its a grand, oversized volume of the sort that became very popular in the 1890s as the fledgling art of photography began to be incorporated into book publishing. The beauty of this particular collection is its diversity. Its not overly focused on any one area of the country (some collections of this era tend to dwell on western lands). Youre as likely to find photos from Rhode Island as from Colorado. On one page you’re looking at a Cape Cod lighthouse, on the next, a Comanche camp on the Great Plains, or a steamboat plying a sleepy Florida river. The text narrative complements the photographs, furnishing extended descriptions of the scenes depicted. Below youll find my own summary of the more than 250 photographs featured in this book. Further down the page, Ive included about sixty examples of the photos so you can see with your own eyes just how truly great they are. Go on, kick back, spend a few minutes in the 19th century. Rare, beautiful, early Indian silvered bronze Bale Krishna, 14 century
Rare, beautiful, early Indian silvered bronze Bale Krishna, 14 century Vijaya nagar period. Here is a small, but exquisite, silvered bronze, Bale Krishna. This bronze is a fine example of the direct connection and influence between the Chola Dynasty, mostly in south India, and the later, more central Indian, Vijayanagar Empire. The amount of detail, movement and expression packed into a rather small bronze, is quite amazing. There are very limited examples of silvered or gilded bronzes from India of this period. The Krishna is in a perfect condition. No dents or losses to the bronze. There are two minor casting errors to the lower part of the base. Weight 186 gr = 0 lb 6.6 oz. 4 cm = 1.6 inch. Height 9 cm = 3.5 inch. The item “Rare, beautiful, early Indian silvered bronze Bale Krishna, 14 century” is in sale since Friday, April 12, 2019. ENGRAVED STONE FROM ORIGINAL 1918 HARLEY-DAVIDSON FACTORY IN. The stone you get is the one pictured. An addition was built in 1918 at the original Harley-Davidson Milwaukee, WI, plant. This was one of the ORIGINAL STONES that was used around the windows and doors of the Harley-Davidson 1918 structure!!! Around 2002 the wing was knocked down and put into storage at the Harley-Davidson Museum there. Each comes with a letter of authenticity which tells the story and chain of control of them. Each COA is hand-signed and has a unique individually numbered hologram attached. You will get the stone pictured. What a great gift…. What a great cause… Its a win-win, that’s for sure. What Harley person wouldn’t LOVE this! Dale Beatty and John Gallina (pictured at bottom of the COA) were injured in a Humvee in Iraq in 2004. Dale lost both legs, John suffered traumatic brain injuries. They could have chosen to respond any way to these disabling injuries, but they chose to not allow their injuries hold them back. They founded Purple Heart Homes, and in fact were pictured on the cover of TIME’s 2011 cover under the caption “The New Greatest Generation”. Dale unexpected passed away last year, but John and their team carry on. John shys away from individual recognition, but is rightfully-so proud of their charity and what it has done for our veterans. The charity fixes up houses to help our veterans out by building ramps, widen doorways, insulating, installing new electric wires, hot water heaters, and much more – at NO COST to the veteran! It is all funded from donations and fundraisers like this. They also have a program where they refurbish entire homes and sell them to the veteran at 50% of the home’s value. What a great program! Also, if this is a bit out of your price range, please check my other auctions as I also have all the bricks from the structure too, and have put a nice plaque on them.
