A really wonderful, early collector’s item. The vase is in quite remarkable condition with no chips or cracks to the body even the handles are good! But there is a little rubbing to the gilt around the topmost rim. The lid has been broken but professionally restored with the damage almost invisible to the outside. Unusual green glass small jug of unknown origin and date. It appears to be early hand blown and very well made. Research suggests it dates to pre 1800 and maybe continental. It’s a very nice piece with its textured finish and lovely colouration. Non smoking house and stored in dark and dry conditions. I have collected many items over the years and it is now time to let some go as well as finally have room in an overflowing loft. So please study them carefully.
