Early Antique Grodnertal Miniature Tuck Comb Peg Doll 3 Rare c. Superb charming little doll from our own personal collection. Rare Tuc Comb design in her hair and lovely all original painted face. A very early doll much sought after. Please note that at some time in its history some adhesive has been applied to the back of her dress to enable her to be seated. Fortunately it does not appear to have affected the doll much. Please see photos that show this including a photo showing the doll seated on a chair. Chair not included in the sale. Age related wear to clothes. The doll has obviously been seated in the same position for many years as it appears the wooden joints may now be frozen but as she is so small and delicate we have never tried to move the joints for fear of damaging them. For us she has always been displayed as she is seated. A very rare and much sought after early antique doll. Exceptionally Rare and Unusual Early Antique Grodnertal Wooden Peg Doll in Original Clothes. All original this is one of the rarest and best Grodnertal dolls from our collection which after many years we are now downsizing. She is fully jointed at the elbows and knees with sculpted hands and feet. She has a carved wooden head reflecting wavy hair and a protruding nose. All original paintwork and decoration in exceptionally good condition. Over 100 years old and very unusual for Grodnertal. She is dressed in original silk and antique lace dress with undergarments. Joints all work as they should and no damage. Overall size approx 12. A rare opportunity to obtain a first class doll which will appeal to the most discerning of antique doll collectors. Very Rare Two Tiny Early Antique Grodnertal Wooden Comb Tuck Peg Doll/Dolls 2cm. Look at these tiny wooden carved dolls just 2 cm tall. An ideal addition to a dolls house. All original with hand painted features and little combs on their heads. Undressed doll has a little yellow comb to her head. One is dressed in a very fragile little outfit, all original. Goodness knows how they dressed the doll! Peg joints to arms and legs. These are from my own private collection.
