Rare Antique Early 19thc Arborescent Bird Fountain Chintz Fabric Lg. Quilt Piece

Absolutely beautiful and so rare to find. A fine early bird chintz quilted textile from about 1820. The front is a bird drinking from a fountain or possibly an urn or fountain surrounded by arborescent foliage and flora. There is a lovely speckled design to the ground. Lovely soft autumnal type hues of sage green and soft browns. Either English or American. Not overly glazed, soft and soft tones. The back is a madder toned cotton print which is later than the cotton chintz on the front so very possibly generational. I imagine once part of a larger counterpane. One edge is stitched under as is the bottom in tiny stitches I have tried to show in the photos. The other edge is raw. An amazing piece for the collector of rare early textiles. Displays beautifully in an early setting. Strong and stable and in fine condition for it’s age. Some age tanning to the bottom area as seen in photo #10 which to me adds lovely charisma to this charming specimen. Measures just slightly over 10″ wide by aprox 73-74″ long. I sell antique and vintage fabric. Each textile is different; some possibly used, some unused. I will give you my best assessment. I do not always launder them nor do I know all their history, how they have been stored over time etc.. This listing is for a Rare Early Antique White / Off White Glazed Terracotta Architectural Fountain Centerpiece of a Child / Boy / Cupid / Putti , wrestling a Fish / Dolphin, Possibly a Greek / Roman mythological creatures Subject. Fish mouth is open and water routes from the underside and comes out the fish’s mouth. 9 3/4 inches by 9/7/8 inches by 30 1/4 inches in overall height with a net weight of approximately 68 lbs unpacked. In as is / as shown condition with loss on one side to fish and putti’s hands and other loss as shown. The piece itself is solid and these losses are possibly as a result of a physical damage like fall or something like that. Item itself is solid and repair will be possible and straight forward to a professional. Amazing posture and face and body on the Putti, Material and construction and glaze all put this piece in 1800’s or perhaps earlier time frame. NuGrape Glass Syrup Dispenser Early 1900s Antique Soda Fountain Authentic. Beautiful art nouveau design. Approximately 11.5 inches tall in total. Bottom section is 6.5 inches in height and about 7.5 inches in diameter at widest diameter. Top section is 5 inches in height and 6 inches at widest diameter. The purple shade to the glass means that it was made before they stopped adding manganese to the glass-around 1920ish. There are some hairline cracks in the base, that are either defects in the glass or a near perfect repair. The top glass is in near flawless condition. There is wear to the logos. RARE! Very Early Antique Albert Pick Co Hot Soda Dispenser Fountain

This is a very rare and early piece of soda fountain memorabilia. The condition of this dispenser is rough but it retains a very aesthetically pleasing look despite its flaws. In the last 10 years I have only ever seen one other example of this dispenser come up for sale, and it was in even worse condition than this one. This dispenser stands 22 inches tall and has an eight inch square white marble base. The body of this dispenser is nickel plated brass and has a heavy frosted glass globe with deeply cut starburst design. At some time in the past this dispenser was turned into a lamp and the internal heating components were damaged or removed. There was originally an Albert Pick company tag on the back that is missing and a small light fixture that illuminated the globe from behind that is no longer present as well as missing its original top cover. Rare antique Waterman 24 fountain pen Taper Cap Eyedropper, late 800 early 900

Rare antique Waterman #24 fountain pen, Taper Cap, Eyedropper. Late 800 – early 900. Waterman was founded in 1983 in New York and is considered the first modern pen factory thanks to the patent of the first multichannel power supply. Already in the official catalog of 1897 the models with taper cap appear, including the one with the two gold bands put up for sale here. The pen for sale. Is a very clean 100% original BCHR Waterman Eyedropper #24. It has no cracks, no engravings, no damage, or anything of the sort. Aside from some extremely minor marks on the section, this pen is flawless. The end of the barrel is appropriately stamped with the number 24. The original Waterman #4 nib is smooth, fine in width, and faintly flexible. The chasing is excellent. Taper Cap Waterman are fairly scarce and this one is in excellent condition. The features of the pen are as follows. Ideal 24 Taper Cap. End 800 – beginning 900. Gold nib engraved with Waterman Ideal New York 4. Excellent condition; the inside of the body of the pen has no trace of ink, so it has never been used or has been cleaned very well; it is a very beautiful pen with a beautiful bright black color; see the photographs. Black decorated with clearly visible lines with 2 chiseled golden bands, on the body the writing: Waterman, s Ideal Fountain Pen NY – Patd Feb. Not decorated black. Length: 145 mm (5-7/8). Over the years I have moved most of my collections to Romania (pens, comics, silver) to have them at hand and be able to view and take care of them. Very Rare Spectacular Early 19th Century Automaton Fountain Clock Gilt Bronze

For sale is a most beautiful and rare French Automaton Clock that I have had in my collection for quite some time. It is one of my favorite items. This is a beautiful clock in completely original condition. It is a silk thread 8 day movement which keeps excellent time. The face of this clock is in remarkable condition, no signs of rubbing or wear. The hands are original. The basin where the glass rod spins to simulate water coming from a lions head, could use a cleaning to brighten the gilding as would the feet and Roman urn on top. The automaton runs well but I think it would benefit from a total service to make it run down to the end of the spring. It should run for a couple of hours, but this gets sluggish after a 1 hour run. The front of this clock is really beautiful with Bah Relief foliates, very well executed and finely detailed. The clock measures 15 inches tall, 7.5 wide and 5 inches deep. The clock comes with 2 period keys, one for the clock and one for the automaton. It chimes on a very sonorous bell at the hour and half hour. Thank you for taking the time to view my sale. It is marked 1406 9, made in U. And the maker is unreadable (pictures # 8 & 9). It has some scuffs, but NO cracks, breaks or repairs and the octagon drain grate and knob are long gone but easily replaced. This EXTREMELY RARE piece measures 13 1/4″ front to back, 14″ wide, 11″ tall and the mount side is not square and measures 14″ across top, 11 3/4″ bottom and 10 1/4″ high.
