This is a superb Art Deco figurine of a nude lady from Karl Ens of Volkstedt. The stunningly beautiful’Blanc de Chine’ figure is posed seated upon a cloth covered log on a malachite coloured ground surrounded by geometric squares of gilt, typically Art Deco. She has her hair tied up, held by a gilt hairband. She measures 5.5inches (14cm) high and is in fabulous condition with no chips, cracks, glaze crazing or restoration, with the gilt being bright and unrubbed.
