MODERN ERCOL RARE CONSOLE TABLE. This is a very good modern Ercol Console table. The table is in excellent virtually showroom condition. The ercol colour code we think is light. The table is made of solid ash with two lined drawers. We date this table from tje late 20th century. The dimensions are as follows. We try to keep deliveries in house and avoid white van man cowboy couriers. We cover all of England and Wales apart from Cornwall and as far north as Glasgow and Edinburgh. In the few places that we don’t deliver, we can recommend a very good courier. In most cases, we deliver as a 2 man team, so assistance is very rarely required. It may also be possible for us to collect from other sellers and deliver at the same time, so keeping your cost down. If work commitments are a problem, we may be able to deliver from 6am if required. We also try to give a three hour time window so you dont have to stay in all day, any unforseen problems on the road, (so far we have never been late) you will be kept informed. Superb Rare Early 1950s Ercol Sideboard

Stunning and Very Rare 1950s Light Elm Ercol Sideboard. Blue Label evident to inside right central cupboard door. Condition is very good, some signs of wear commensurate with age but overall a beautiful tone and glow. I have tried to list all imperfections below, but please use photographs for additional information. There is a faint ring mark and one area of slight darkening to the top – likely to be resolvable with a sand if desired but we have not done this as dont feel it is necessary. There is one scratch in the wood to top right inset panel of right central cupboard door. There is a small, slightly darker line along the front lower right central door and frame, again would likely lift with a sand but not done as not felt needed for aesthetics. There is minor damage to both handles on top left hand drawer- I have actually had to look hard to see which drawer in order to photograph this, so it isnt something I notice standing back. The top 2 drawers have been felted at some stage, unsure if original. One has had felt removed. This could easily be remedied if desired. There are signs of use to the internal wood in cupboards and drawers, if seeking a perfect look then again could have a light sand. I must stress that this is a mid- century original piece and as such is not in perfect like new condition, but rather has a beautiful glow only found in older items and the solid elm top and? Beech/ elm frame and body are truly beautiful to behold. It is sympathetically restored with a very light, ultra low grit sand and wax polish, ready to be used and look stunning in any setting. Ercol Blonde Dressing Table with Mirror Rare (Early 50s/60s)

ERCOL MODEL 408 DRESSING TABLE WITH MIRROR. Beautiful original Ercol Blonde Model 408 Dressing Table and Mirror in excellent condition and still with glass sliders in end drawers. There are gentle signs of wear to be expected with age. The table is in fine condition, with beautiful shine and depth of colour, near immaculate. As you would expect from Ercol, it is beautifully crafted, made from solid elm with, the exception of the nicely grained elm veneered back panels, and has lovely dovetail joints to the corners. The blue marker tabs are still visible, however have started peeling given its age. It measures 114cm wide x 54 cm deep (Top itself is 48cm). Height to table is 74cm, and to top of mirror 123cm. The mirror measures 86cm X 42cm. Please feel free to message if you have any further questions. Rare Early/ 50s Ercol Blonde Dressing Table with Mirror & 60s Dressing Chair MCM

Ercol Blonde Dressing Table with Mirror. & Model 414 Low Backed Dressing Chair. I have found it seriously hard to part with this – such a beautiful set! ERCOL MODEL 408 DRESSING TABLE WITH MIRROR. Beautiful original Blue Label Ercol Blonde Model 408 Dressing Table and Mirror in excellent condition and still with glass sliders in end drawers. Adjustable carved wood threaded pins fully in tact to rear of mirror. Please note this has the older style circular knobs – so a rare, early Ercol piece. The later 60s version has oval knobs and a carved recess behind the knobs. There are gentle signs of wear commensurate with age, and the previous owner had this from new and looked after it with pride. There is a scratch to the back of the mirror (picture 11) and a small, hard to notice blemish on the top surface (see picture 12 with 10p piece) this is truly hardly noticeable, I only saw it because I was looking for it! I would still say this dressing table is in fine condition, especially for its age, with beautiful shine and depth of colour, near immaculate. As you would expect from Ercol, it is beautifully crafted, made from solid elm with, the exception of the nicely grained elm veneered back panels, and has lovely dovetail joints to the corners. Original Ercol dressing chair model 414 designed in 1950’s in excellent condition. This particular chair was made in 1960 – there is a stamped kite mark on the underside as pictured. It is beautifully made with a solid elm seat and the rest in beech and is strong and sturdy. It measure 42cms wide x 41cms deep x 64cms high x 42cms to seat. Ercol Early Windsor Low Seated Fireside Chair Cowhorn Rare Restored

This is a low seated Ercol Windsor Fireside chair in the “Cowhorn” style so called due to the curved arms. An early version with only seven spindles. The press studs are present under the seat so that cushions can be attached. The later versions have nine spindles with a higher seat. The Blue Ercol label “Made in England” is present. The chair has been stripped and fully re-polished with a hard wearing lacquer. It is sturdy with no loose joints or spindles. See our other listing for a second chair. Dimensions: Height of back 68 cm 27″ Width across arms 54cm 21″ Seat measurements: Width 48cm 19″ Depth 41cm 16″ Height 34cm 13.5″ The thickness of the seat is 4cm 1.5″. You will pay him on arrival. He uses plenty of blankets and straps to look after your item. He works alone so would need help unloading if the item is large or heavy. We can arrange a two man service if required. We use state-of-the-art water borne lacquers as used by manufacturers. They have been certified to FIRA Standard 6250 for surfaces in heavy/severe use and are superior to any oil or wax. The finishing process we have developed maintains the timber’s colour and warmth and enhances figure, grain definition and chatoyance. On Antiques we use traditional French polishing methods. Please study the photos and wording as they form part of the description. Our items are genuine vintage and as such may have signs of previous use commensurate with age.
