Antique Ward Brothers Redhead duck decoy, early period, circa 1930, having a hand carved semi hollow body, a distinctly shaped head with glass eyes and carved nares and bill gape, and a small paddle tail, in worn original paint. The decoy is in good structural condition, with slight separation along the body seam, a little loss in the seam in the breast area, and a small chip on the bottom beneath the breast. The body has original paint, worn and weathered, and missing to some extant on the lower sides and bottom. The head appears to have old paint strengthening. The head is tightly fastened via an old top bolt. Measures: 6.75 high x 14.5 length x 6.5 width. Antique early Gunthermann duck toy clockwork wind up German rare collectible Mechanism: wind up manual, not working. Dimensions: 185 mm (L) x 110 mm (H) x 90 mm (W). The toy is in good condition for its age, it is over 100 years old. The mechanism is not working. It has been repaired during time, as you can see from the pictures, the two main pieces of the body are glued with pewter. The left wheel is dented. The body has a dent under neck on the left side (picture 5) and a crack on the right side (picture 6). It is an antique toy, children played with it, as you can see the paint is missing on some areas and it is faded. It was made in Germany, by the company Gunthermann. It is not as famous as Lehmann, but its toys are harder to find. It is a rare toy, for collectors. If you have any reservations please contact me for clarification. Very rare Schuco Donald Duck Figure. Early pre-WW2 Schuco production. Featuring a Donald Duck style duck figure. Made of tin hand painted in beige, green and orange to beak. He is wearing a felt jacket and carries a cane and a backpack. Also a piece of felt as tail. He is about 5 3/4 inches tall. Wind up mechanism makes him waddle, open and close his beak, and produce a squeaking sound thanks to a bellow inside his beak. This type of early Schuco ducks are very rare, but this combination of green paint with green jacket and walking stick is super rare. Original paint with no touchups. Felt clothes are in very good condition with no damage. Clockwork mechanism works and he squeaks no problem. He is missing a small round hat. VERY RARE ANTIQUE COALPORT ROCOCO REVIVAL ADELAIDE EARLY 1800’S. SIGNATURE DUCK SPOUT TEAPOT. Unmarked, as was the case for this period, except for the fractional 3/64? On the underside, this 200 year old signature duck spout teapot is in very nice condition with a 10 hole strainer and only minor gilt loss on the handle. It has a white ground, an unusual blue patterned body and verge with gold scrolling and accents, and gilt edge. This footed bulbous fluted embossed teapot measures 10.5″ spout to handle, is 6″ wide and 6.5″ high; and the 3.5″ X 3 top has a crown finial. Rare Early 1890 Mason Challenge Broadbill Duck Hunting Decoys Decoy Wood Old

These early (circa 1890) Mason Decoy Company (Detroit, Michigan) pronounced snakey head examples are extremely rare and highly sought after by Mason decoy collectors. Russ Goldberger and Allan Haids excellent reference, Mason Decoys A Complete Pictorial Guide show a similar example (redhead) on page 44. In 20 years of collecting, I’ve only had a few of these. They are extremely stylish and show the artistry of this early and most collectible decoy company. With exception of the white speculums, this examples paint is worn but original. It is of utmost importance to have the most original paint possible on any old decoy and this one has over 90%. The left eye is missing as is the neck filler. Additionally adding the the rarity is the fact that this example is a broadbill (greater scaup) as opposed to the more commonly found bluebill (lesser scaup).
