This is a genuine old minton majolica chinaman teapot, it measures about 13.5cm high, 18cm long. Probably dates from around 1870 or so, its impressed MINTONS on the base. This is an extremely rare old teapot, you will find lots of reproductions but this is guaranteed genuine. Please read condition report. Modelled as a Chinese actor in a turquoise floral robe holding a Noh mask from which the spout projects. His head the lid and the handle formed by his braided hair.
