Made by Philip Carpenter in the early 1800’s. Dr Brewster’s patented. Unfortunately isn’t in the best condition anymore and will need some work to get it back up to its former glory. The black coating has mostly come away and there is damage to the glass. Please see all photos for condition.
Rare 20th Century American Carpenter Workbench. Full of character, this beautifully restored vintage workbench is so versatile – it can be used in any room as a table, desk or workbench. Solid and sturdy, this workbench has been treated for woodworm, restored and waxed. It features beautiful patina after years of use which adds to its character. In the front, there is one large drawer which can be used for tools, stationary supplies, utensils, the list goes on! The unit also has a lovely antique wooden vice screw on the front left. 152 cm length 49.5 cm wide 77 cm tall. Front Drawer 46.5 cm length 42 cm wide, 7.5 cm height. Workbench Top – 3 cm thick.
