Extremely rare large Bisto Gravy 10lb shop/catering size tin. This mono-coloured version is probably the earliest to feature the Bisto Kids by Will Owen and the lithographed panel artwork has his name on it. Size; very large tin measuring 255 mm tall and 157 mm square. In good condition with typical wear and tear, see photos. In many years of trading antique advertising tins I have never seen another example of this version of the large Bisto tin or seen a reference to it in any literature. Most of my prices are firm and haggle free. The only listings that I discount are those with a “Make Offer” option on the listing. Butchers Shop Point of Sale Ceramic Piglet. Ceramic Pigs were slowly phased out at the time of the Second World War. So this is a very rare survivor indeed. Lovely crackled glaze detailing. 31cm Long x 13cm wide x 22cm High. In very good vintage condition with stains and marks commensurate with age, no cracks, chips or repairs.
