Rare German 400 Day, Anniversary, Torsion Clock. A very rare German made 400 day, Anniversary, Torsion clock by’WURTH’? Never had or seen one like this before as it has a snake and ball pendulum. It also has’D. M 6791′ stamped onto it Makers name?? . This clock has no dome which appears to have been missing for many years. The steel work has some surface rust which should clean off and it needs a new suspension. The spring is good and fully wound. The dial is delightful with secessionist style decoration and beautifully engraved flowers. This is an unusual, early and extremely attractive clock that requires restoration. The base is wooden and brass and sits on four brass bun feet. Please view photos carefully as it forms part of the overall description, and please ask all questions prior to sale.
