September 23, 2019
17th / 18th Century Chinese Necklace w/ Tourmaline & Solid Gold Beads. This superb Chinese necklace is decorated with three long solid gold beads and several tourmaline beads in various colors separated by bronze beads. It dates from the 17th or 18th century and measures approximately 24 inches end to end. The gold beads vary in size with the largest measuring 2 inches long and 1/2 of an inch at it’s widest point. The tourmaline beads average 1/2 an in to 5/8 of an inch long. It is in excellent condition with the exception of some greening on the bronze and a hole in one of the gold beads. We are unsure if the gold connectors to close it are later or not but if they are later they are still of Chinese origin. WE USE DAYLIGHT BULBS WHEN PHOTOGRAPHING. COLOR IS ACCURATE ON OUR MONITOR.
