This listing is for an early antique Black Forest wall clock. This clock is very unusual, as it features a roof like top, ornately carved lower panel with a carving of a man, carved dial, ornate hands, and wooden movement. The clock is missing its weights. We took photos with weights from an American ogee clock attached in order to show where the chains are. The ogee weights are not included. There are remnants of a makers label on the back. It looks like it says KHS with the emblem of an animal of sorts. This clock measures 48 x 15 x 8 inches. Its a beautiful pieces that we unfortunately do not know a whole lot about. There is a piece of trim missing on the upper right side and it appears that there was once a top ornament or finial of sorts that is missing (see photos). This item is part of an inherited estate.
