RARE ANTIQUE/ EARLY 20thC NECKLACE OF LARGE HEAVY OPALESCENT FOIL GLASS BEADS

This is a genuine antique or very early 20th century necklace of beautiful hand made heavy opalescent glass foil beads. The beads are irregular and have areas where they are slightly rough and have have indentations. The foil flows through each bead (not just on the surface like more modern ones). They have a wonderful golden fiery glow! They are on their original stringing. The clasp was broken so I have added another one. I have had them for a long time, and I have enjoyed wearing them. They are the older high choker length; if a longer necklace is desired then they could perhaps do with being professionally restrung with appropriate spacer beads. I do not often see foil glass beads of such high quality. The necklace is approximately 15 long and weighs just over 67g Please do also read the condition report and have a look at all the images, as they form part of the description.
