FREE PICK-UP IN THE CHICAGOLAND AREA. Up for your consideration is a unique Early-American sewing box/pin cushion, c. The piece is dove-tailed, with a bird’s eye maple veneer. It measures 7.5″ tall, and 5″ wide. The box is in excellent condition, free of cracks, chips, or damage to the wood. The pin cushion is supported by 6 hat pins, 4 which have black tops, and two with wood tops (which are the originals). There is some slight bending to these pins. This quote is for the Continental U. FASE PRESIDENT “PENDULO” LAMP. MID CENTURY DESIGN CLASSIC FROM THE ICONIC SPANISH COMPANY FASE. THE LARGEST AND MOST SOUGHT AFTER FASE LAMP. EARLY VERSION WITH THE LIPPED CHROME SHADE RING. BLACK METAL SHADE AND BASE, WITH SOLID TEAK STEM AND CHROME ARM. THE LAMP ROTATES 360 DEGREES ON ITS BASE. FULLY WORKING, BUT NOT CURRENTLY PAT TESTED. THE LAMP HAS THE ORIGINAL WIRING AND TWO PIN EUROPEAN PLUG, SO YOU WILL NEED A THREE PIN ADAPTOR. OVERALL THE LAMP IS IN GREAT CONDITION FOR ITS AGE. THE WOOD HAS NO SPLITS. THE SHADE IS DENT FREE. THE CHROME ARM IS SUPERB. THE COUNTER WEIGHT HAS A FEW DENTS/SCUFFS, WHICH IS NOT UNCOMMON WITH THE PENDULO (PIC 9). THE TOP OF THE WOOD STEM HAS MINOR SCUFFING (PIC 11). REPLACEMENT BOLT FITTED TO THE SHADE CUP (SEE PIC 10). THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAS PLACED A FELT COVER OVER THE PLASTIC BASE PLATE (PIC 12). ANTIQUE WOODEN TOY FORT CASTLE. THIS IS A RARE OLD TOY CASTLE, WITH DRAWBRIDGE. MAKER AND REGION OF MANUFACTURE UNKNOWN. IT MAY WELL BE A COMPLETELY HOME MADE PIECE, AND IT HAS BEEN WONDERFULLY HAND PAINTED. In 100% original condition. Dates to around the 1920’s, possibly older. I can’t find another like it! Due to value and size this will be posted via courier. In good overall condition. All but one of the little square pieces from the castellated walls are missing, and the piece of wood that slots in the base to store it all away is incomplete and broken. There is damage to most parts (dents, scuffs, small cracks, etc), most notably the drawbridge entrance which has broken. However, with age and rarity in mind, it is still very good overall. To give an idea on the size, the base measures 22″ across x 17″ deep. PLEASE VIEW PHOTOS CAREFULLY FOR EXACT CONDITION. Rare early Steiff tipped mohair chimpanzee with button

Here’s a fairly rare, early Steiff chimpanzee – close relative to Jocko – made of long, brown-tipped white mohair. Chimp is all original with his underscored’ff’ earbutton c. 1928-34, and is woodwool-stuffed. He’s fully-jointed but sits with his legs folded. When fully extended he’s around 33 cms (13) long. Chimp has back-painted amber glass eyes, and some of the enamel has worn away over the years. There’s airbushed detailing to his felt face, while his felt hands have been darned in the past with wool – mostly his fingertips. One foot has a small hole and, although he has overall thinning to his fur, which has yellowed over time, Chimp is nevertheless a champion character. He wears a handknitted dicky bow with homemade felt fez, and travels with his monkey puzzle card salvaged from a penny toy. Thanks for looking at this wonderful old primate.
