Here we offer a rare vintage Eames Herman Miller zenith parchment rope edge rocker. Fresh out of local estate. In overall great condition. Rocker base look nice and clean overall. Plating on rocker frame looks free of rust. Shell looks great overall no real bleed through of shock mounts. Looks original in our opinion but we are no experts with these early year rockers. Heres an old original rare version ROOMS sign dating from around the 1940s and the era of the ma and pa boarding house hotel for traveling tourists. This sign is double sided with both sides displaying equally well and is all metal with bold embossed lettering. It is virtually a one of a kind of which ive never seen another one like it of this period type sign. Measures 12” x 4 1/8” and is in excellent all original condition for its age having superb authentic true character. This is a great nostalgic era display sign. Antique Very Early Rare Dutch Delft Praying Woman Circa 1625 Excavated Crucifixion An early very rare Dutch Delft octagonal plate painted in blue decorated in the centre with a kneeling/praying woman holding a crucifixion and her rosery mounted in a typical Dutch landscape – Circa 1625 – – Diameter: 8,0 inch (203mm) – Found in one very large and one small piece, reglued together with 2 chips filled (please see pictures) – Excavated in the Netherlands – – Note: this kind of early Delftware, so called”proto Delfts” is almost always descended from excavations from the past, intact excamples are very rare/not to get. Rare Early Austrian Art Nouveau Pottery Vase EDUARD STELLMACHER c. Rare Early Austrian Art Nouveau Pottery Vase EDUARD STELLMACHER, circa 1890. We feature a growing selection of Oriental, Chinese and Ethnic antiques. FREE PICK-UP IN THE CHICAGOLAND AREA. Up for your consideration is a very rare and early vase by Alfred Stellmacher, made a few years before founding “Amphora”. It is in the Jugendstil style, made in Turn-Teplitz, and features a matte glazed single handled jug bears incised decoration in the form of trees, above gold square panels which depict fish and birds. Stamped “Stellmacher Teplitz” and impressed “05-14″ on the underside Height: 10. This piece was likely crafted between 1890 – 1895, and is in the Jugendstil (German/Austrian Art Nouveau) style. Stellmacher (with others) founded Riessner, Stellmacher and Kessel Amphora Porcelain Works (RStK), better known as Amphora, in 1892. Logically, the mark on this piece should predate the formation of this company by a few years, although precise use of the years associated with this mark are unknown. The piece is in excellent condition, free of chips, cracks, damage, or loss. There are some areas of imperfection in the glazes and designs i.
